More than Movement - Martin
Growing up with Eastern European parents meant being raised with high expectations and a lot of tough love. At times, it was challenging, but it taught me discipline, resilience, accountability, and the importance of working hard for what I want.
My parents sacrificed a great deal to give me opportunities they did not always have themselves. Their support and sacrifices put me in the position I am in today, and I would not be the person—or coach—I am without them.
They have influenced the way I approach life, business, and coaching. They taught me to stay humble, keep working, and never take an opportunity for granted. Everything I am building is connected to the foundation they created for me.
As ProduceAthletics grows, I hope to honor their sacrifices through the way I treat people and the effort I put into helping others. More than anything, I want to make them proud of the person I continue to become.
What do you find fulfilling?
I enjoy going on hikes and adventures with friends and family. I love cooking for other people, when I get older I would love to host events and cook meals for everyone.
I love hanging out with friends and staying active throughout the day, I love to meet new people and go to new places around the world. I love staying active with my dog “handsome.”

More than Movement - Tristan
Coming from a traditional Chinese household, I grew up under the constant weight of comparison, leaving me with a persistent feeling of inadequacy that hovered over me throughout my life. Whether it was watching peers land top-tier university acceptances or watching colleagues advance faster than me, my self-esteem was constantly beaten as I sought external validation.
In these moments, I learned resilience, self-reliance, and the importance of measuring success on my own terms. I explored my self-doubt, and developed confidence by leaning into the things I was good at. Things were never easy, but through my hard work, I learned something valuable—good things take time.
Fast forward to today, I’ve turned my past history into fuel. Instead of seeking approval, I empower others to embrace their journey and trust the process. At ProduceAthletics, we’ll understand who you are, not just as an athlete, but as an individual with a unique life story.
What do you find fulfilling?
My most fulfilling activities are Kendama (been playing for 11 years), spending time with my friends and family, and creating designs for my own mental health clothing brand. I also love watching anime, collecting shoes, and improving my photography skills.
I believe that being able to move is a gift is one of our greatest gifts in life. If you’re not striving to improve by 1% everyday, you’re missing out on your true potential :)
